For this collection, I began by wandering into the shadowed realm of Develop & Decay. Drawn to the strange elegance hidden within ruin, I found myself captivated by Chernobyl — a place where time has stood still, and the remnants of lives once lived now linger like ghostly echoes. The abandoned town is hauntingly beautiful: nature, in its quiet persistence, has begun to reclaim what remains, though here the process is far from ordinary. The radioactive catastrophe twisted and warped both the interiors and exteriors of homes, leaving behind forms and textures that seem almost otherworldly. In those distortions, I found a peculiar beauty — patterns of collapse and transformation that became the foundation for my silhouettes and the textures woven into this collection.
